AN OEDEMA AFTER AMPUTATION
Oedema may occur at the site of an amputation, which is after the removal of a limb.
This area will usually respond extremely well to MLD therapy to reduce scar keloids and swelling.
Having MLD treatment enables fitting for prosthesis (artificial limb) to be undertaken so much sooner than when MLD is not used.
Also in some cases of "Phantom" pain, MLD has helped to relieve or even eradicate this.
